ENVIRONMENTAL. SOCIAL. GOVERNANCE.

Our holistic approach aims to transform the supply chain—from farm to fork—by minimising environmental impacts, fostering consumer trust, and building resilience.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a universal framework for fostering peace, prosperity, and sustainability for both people and the planet. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which call for urgent global collaboration.

Foods Wise is proud to align our efforts with this agenda, driving meaningful change through sustainability initiatives focused on environmental responsibility, social equity, and transparent governance.

ESG PRINCIPLES

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance principles. At Foods Wise, ESG principles serve as the foundation of our sustainability efforts. These principles guide us in integrating ethical practices across our operations.

Through these principles, we ensure that sustainability is embedded at every level of our supply chain, delivering both ethical and high-quality products. These principles ensure that we balance environmental stewardship, social accountability, and governance transparency, enabling us to deliver products that align with both ethical standards and customer expectations.

Environmental responsibility

We are dedicated to minimising our environmental footprint by adopting sustainable resource management practices and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions. Our key efforts include partnering with environmentally responsible suppliers to promote biodiversity and reduce ecological disruption. Beyond that, we utilise renewable energy sources and energy-efficient systems in our facilities.

We are continuously implementing waste management strategies, including recycling, composting, and innovative packaging solutions. By prioritising environmental responsibility, we aim to preserve the planet's resources for future generations while supporting global climate action.

Social Equity

We value people as the cornerstone of our success and are committed to promoting fairness, safety, and empowerment throughout the supply chain. We ensure ethical working conditions, equitable wages, and respect for workers’ rights. This is done by upholding rigorous safety protocols to protect employees across all operations.

Beyond our employees, we also focus on community empowerment, supporting local farmers, suppliers, and communities through training, resource sharing and strategic collaboration. Through social equity initiatives, we aim to build stronger relationships with our employees, suppliers, and communities while driving meaningful social change.

Transparent Governance

Integrity and accountability are at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all business practices align with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. This includes conducting operations with honesty, fairness, and respect for all stakeholders. We prioritise compliance by adhering to local and international laws, certifications, and industry standards.

Transparent governance fosters trust with customers, partners, and stakeholders, reinforcing our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices. For our risk management, we have implemented robust systems to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across the supply chain.

Our Vision for 2030

To align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we have identified four key sustainability goals. Each goal reflects our commitment to fostering a more sustainable food supply chain. By fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, we aim to achieve our sustainability targets by 2030. Together, we can create a future that prioritises the health of the planet, the well-being of people, and the integrity of our business operations.
